Prepositions are always followed by nouns. Sometimes that means using the –ing (or gerund) form of a verb.
Some common prepositions in English are of, to, in, about, around, for, with, as, on and from, but there are over 150 different prepositions in English. Find more information about prepositions of place and prepositions of time in the following posts.
